Good to see Andre Perret’s sumptuous 2011 Condrieu “Chery” getting the top marks in Decanter magazine’s tasting of Northern Rhone 2011s (April 2013). JNwine have been following Andre for some time now and treasure our annual allocation of this unique, very special wine.

This is what the Decanter panel had to say: "Pure fruit elegance on the nose, a spiced muskiness. One of the finest Cherys I’ve tasted. Drink 2014 – 2020. Alc 14.5%"

Andre Perret’s observation on the 2011 Vintage: "It’s a year of low acidity so you couldn’t do a lot of extraction. Freshness is present, but the wines are fragile given the low acidity".
