JN Wine is delighted to be playing an official part in this year’s Irish Open - We have been given the opportunity to provide this year’s official champagne.
Working closely with one of our suppliers we have come up with a Champagne that ticks all the boxes. It has been sourced from family run vineyards in the Epernay area of champagne. The JN Champagne is delicate and elegant with aromas of brioche, honey and a fresh lemony finish. Try it for yourself!
We are having a free tasting day in the shop!
Place: The Tasting Room, JN Wine, Crossgar
Date: Saturday 16th May
Time: Midday till 5pm
Price: Free
We are using this opportunity to celebrate all things close to home, and have invited some our favourite producers whose products will of course complement Champagne. They will also be bringing along tasting samples and offering the chance to buy.
East Coast Seafoods
Here in County Down Marty & Eileen Johnson provide award winning seafood products. Based in Ballyhornan, they are the go to for top restaurants and seafood loving public alike! They will be bringing along their smoked and hot smoked salmon-what a combo!
Eva Paris
Tracey Jeffries has been a long-standing customer of JN wine, so she knows quality! And her luxurious handmade macarons are a testament to her days spent alongside pastry chefs in France and polishing her skills in a French Cookery School in London. She works from her kitchen in Killinchy, so it will only be a short hop down to JN on the 16th. If you have never tried macarons and Champagne together then this is your chance - a winning partnership

Ruby Blue Liqueur
Everything that comes through JN doors has to be tasted and passed through quality control (we can be very hard to please at times). When Barbara Hughes brought in her fruit infused craft liqueurs they were an instant hit with the team. Perfect for sipping over ice, mixing with sparkling wine/champagne, or making cocktails.

Shortcross Gin
We can’t believe that Shortcross Gin has been on our shelves for nearly a year! It has gained such a following across Ireland and the UK. David & Fiona will be here to take you through the gin making process and of course offer you the chance to try. But be warned - once you try it you may never look back!
