Why wait? Wines for drinking now

Learn About Wine: New World Wine |

Many of us wine lovers have romantic notions of large collections, full of classic Bordeaux, Burgundy, Hermitage, Champagne, Barolo…the list can go on and on and on. The reality is, for the vast majority of us, the fancy cellar, full of perfectly aged wines is nothing more than a dream. But that definitely doesn’t mean that you can’t enjoy a glass of the good stuff! The fact is, the vast majority of red wine is supposed to be consumed within 3-5 years of vintage (1-3 for white and within 18 months for light, pale rosé) so that gives us plenty of options to sip on while waiting on that special occasion to pop something special.

Sartarelli Brut Spumante NV

Very fresh, vibrant and elegant. Drink over the next 18 months. A perfect aperitif!
