Red Wine

Chateau Chemin Royal 2009, £16.99

Dense, oaky blackberry and black cherry nose. Rich and full-bodied, but has ample fruit and some chocolatey tannins. A big wine but not ungainly. Solid and has potential. Good length, chewy finish. An excellent Bordeaux that won’t break the bank.

Neudorf Tom's Block Pinot Noir 2016, £22.50

"Very fresh and lively with real easy appeal without being sweet. There’s a jewelly core here. Well done! This has come nicely out of its shell. Really rather long.”

White Wine

A A Badenhorst Family White 2017, £22.39

White peach, yellow apple, heather and verbena notes are still tightly coiled at the core. This has purity and depth, and should unwind well in the cellar. This South African blend is made up predominantly with Chenin Blanc.

La Clef du Recit Sancerre Blanc 2017, £19.99

A beautiful Sancerre that is richly textured with ripe gooseberry aromas, bracing acidity and flinty-smoke flavours.  A classic wine from the Loire Valley that never fails to delight.
