Times have changed and so have our lifestyles; whether you’re committed to being more health conscious, needing to be the designated driver, calorie counting or an expectant mother, now we have a great alternative drink – EINS-ZWEI-ZERO range of alcohol-free wines.

Alcohol-Free Alternative

Not only do these wines offer an alcohol-free alternative, it’s a satisfying and tasty alternative at that! The alcohol-free sparkling in particular could easily be mistaken for a good alcoholic version; fresh, dry, with an underlying mineral base.

Johannes Leitz

Under the direction of Johannes Leitz, Leitz have earned the reputation of being one of Rheingau’s top growers and moreover, one of the finest producers in Germany. Very much driven by progressive innovation, they were early in recognising the demand for quality low/no alcohol wine options for consumers in today’s increasingly mindful market. He has always aimed to produce wines in an elegant style with pure fruitiness and great freshness, of the highest quality - and this includes his alcohol-free wines.

The Range

The four wines we have – a still Riesling, sparkling Riesling, still Pinot Noir rosé and sparkling Pinot Noir rosé - are vinified as true wine before the alcohol is removed by the gentle process of vacuum distillation to preserve the natural grape varietal aromas and flavours.

Leitz Riesling Eins Zwei Zero

Not just a clever name - a brilliantly conceived wine by Leitz who are based in the Rheingau which is one of the warmer regions of Germany and thereby better suited to the dry styles of the wonderful Riesling grape

This is full of fresh flavour and hints of citrus and yellow stone fruits. It’s well suited to a range of dishes including seafood and fish, as well as being an excellent party wine or apéritif.

Leitz Eins Zwei Zero Rosé

The Leitz EINS-ZWEI-ZERO ROSÉ offers an original character that is clean and fresh with notes of pale strawberries, raspberry and citrus; slight hints of fresh grapefruit and an underlying mineral base. The finish is dry and relatively long. Of course, an alcohol-free wine never will give the same depth, structure and weight as a wine with alcohol, but this is extremely close to it and it is simply an alcohol-free wine tasting wine. Impressive.

We recommend to pair EINS-ZWEI-ZERO ROSÉ with summer salads or different fruits.

Leitz Riesling Eins Zwei Zero Sparkling

Alcohol free Riesling with a fizz.

The Leitz EINS-ZWEI-ZERO sparkling offers an original character that is clean and fresh with notes of lime and citrus; surprisingly rhubarb and a little hint of red apples on an underlying mineral base. The finish is dry and relatively long.

Leitz Eins Zwei Zero Rosé Sparkling, 75cl

This non-alcoholic sparkling rosé is 100% pinot noir. The grapes macerate for 6 hours prior to pressing. The CO2 really balances out the residual sugar, making it appear drier than it is. Because of that, it's even more wine-like! This refreshing sparkler exudes cool, red fruits and lean minerality.
