La Tour Du Pin 2010 Saint Émilion

Intriguing nose. On the palate plenty of dark fruit, kirsch and mineral components complimented by good mouth feel. The tannins are ripe, but not intrusive. Perfumed finish, very long. Pretty classy. We are very fortunate to have secured a small parcel of this top class wine owned and produced by Cheval Blanc from a small property just across the road. (JN Taste Team April 2011).

“This very perfumed style of wine is slightly cooler and fresher than the more opulent, glycerin-imbued 2009. Exhibiting terrific aromatics (black and red fruits, licorice, and graphite), medium to full-bodied flavors, super purity, and a long finish, it should drink nicely when young and evolve for 10-15 years” (eRobertParker.com)
